UltraSMTP utilizes SSL/TLS and/or STARTTLS encryption on incoming and outgoing SMTP connections whenever possible, to secure these connections.

To ensure that connections from your mail client to UltraSMTP are secure, set your mail client to connect to smtp.ultrasmtp.com using SSL/TLS on port 465, or STARTTLS on ports 25 or 587.

When delivering mail, UltraSMTP will automatically connect to the remote mail server using STARTTLS if the remote mail server supports STARTTLS.

UltraSMTP applies industry-standard security practices internally, including the use of prepared SQL statements, password hashing, use of latest SSL/TLS protocols and ciphers, firewalls, and routing OS patches and updates.
